Yep! My 12 yo son is just getting over a case all over his face (and around his eyes). When we went to the Dr. we sat in the car waiting (and listened to a
CD) to keep from sitting in the waiting room with all of the flu infected people. His probably came from playing army with his friends, they crawl around a lot in the woods.

ABSOLUTELY - BEEN THERE, DONE THAT & THREW AWAY THE TSHIRT!!!!!!!!!
The places you can get infected from - OUTSIDE / around tree bases, even if there is snow, there can be dead P.I. @ base, the oil is Always active.I got it while transplanting trees in a snow blizzard & carrying the tree by the truck / if you have a pet - they can run, dig in the snow & end up with oil on their fur. You pet fido & bang, ya got it yourself / stacked wood. If you use wood in the winter, it is Easy for some P.I. to grow around, thru & underneath it. You may not have seen it before the snowfall & now there is oil on the wood.I had a nasty bout after carrying in fire wood one yr.* INSIDE - believe it or not, I once got P.I. from sitting bare legged on a cottage couch. Didnt think about the summer sitting on the same couch when I had P.I.- who'd a thunk it? / Old clothes - had leggings that I wore Only in winter - got P.I. from them. Even though they were washed, the doc said they Should have been washed 3 times, with bleach.
I am Soooooooo sorry you have it. I had it so often that for the last 7 yrs we had the cottage.....I was on Steriods Every yr. Finally had to Sell the cottage. I was just sick all the time. Had the doc tell me it was possible to get infected if the "wind" was blowing over the P.I. in my direction......can't fight That!

I was thinking of this thread today. I brought down a tree out back that was covered with PI.

My son has it now. With all the forest fires around here he will be covered. I swear he only has to LOOK at it.
