Sorry, Gil, just wanted to get that information out there.

My first geese were not the one gander and two geese that I requested and bought. They grew up to be three ganders, and big ones! After a couple of breeding seasons of being bitten and flogged, I found something that helped a lot. I sort of sang to them! When they approached me, I would repeat "goose, goose" in a sing-song voice, sometimes adding other words, but keeping a slow song-like repetition going. They would stand there and look at me, and then usually walk away.
Sorry for what bluetick? Sorry that I didnt sing a lullaby to a goose that had already bloodied my children's eyebrow? Dont be sorry at all yet dont rule out an alternative that worked for me short of putting the obnoxious creature down. Bottom line, people before animals-unless your on tour with Chrissy Hines.
P.S.
I DO NOT believe in being cruel to animals! I love and care for every animal I have, and oh, by the way bluetick, the goose never suffered from my actions. If I had it to do over, I would do it again cause it werked

Just wanted to let everyone know that once again things have settled down. Little goose is being a gentleman again. Hopefully I can handle this situation until I have some young females to go out with them. Course "spring time" is around the corner and what is it that they say? "In the sprintime a young ganders fancy turns to..."
