Good point, we live in Arkansas, moved here from E. Washington 2 years ago. We thought great, lower cost of living, dh getting great pay increase (reason for move). Well yes property taxes are very low in this state however we have a state income tax, state, county and city sales tax (which is higher in some areas than the sales tax in WA State which only has sales tax and property tax) then we have to assess once a year and pay taxes on what vehicles we own (on top of the registration costs once a year). We actually figure that it has cost us more to live here than it did in E. WA.
