First off Tracy, I'll take 3 of the " I've seen the village, and I don't want it raising my children" bumper stickers. ROFLMAO!
This is an interesting thread since I too have a blog and was curious on how that whole make money with adsense worked. Can you choose the sites or type? Is that income taxed (referring to the < $100 per month scenerio)? Tax man cometh and pass on by.
I doubt that the majority of the populatin would enjoy shopping where I shop (city curb shops , deep dumpster diving extreme, gleaning is us, and trade ya a second born for that tractor emporium. Parking & selection is @ best hit & miss.
My blog is simular to Path to Freedom minus the Californian weather, a city code that allows chickens, an easily tapped yuppy market hungry for organic produce, and that great Californian sunshine for solar.
Think Buffalo winters, meat rabbits on the qt, gorilla gardening in plain sight, non electric applications that make CPS raise an eyebrow, and the ever present learning curve in the da hood.

ya know, i had either google adsense or yahoo ad's on my site. it was a Pc repair and custom build site, i would look at these ad's and it would be placing ad's for OTHER computer shops. even when i tried to eliminate the pc/electronics ad's from the site they would still come up, I got annoyed and removed all of the ad spots

Hey.

Servers and bandwidth aren't free.

Kerio Personal Firewall blocks the Google ads.

Hi,
They are not free, but pretty close.
I pay $7 per month to my ISP for my website. It get 4000 visitors a day, and still does not use anywhere near all the bandwidth I'm allowed.
Its about the best deal going that I know of.

Well, I can say I started her blogging. She has written about our relationship a couple of times. I have "real" PW prints (from her gallery opening) hanging in my study. You knew her when? I knew her BEFORE. Ha.

I dont think the ad income from this site could be much, there arent enough ads.

and not any that anonymous pervs would click on 100 times to see.
