I saw Pat Moynihan try valiantly to make that very point in a speech at the UN when he was the U.S. Ambassador to that body. He used the old "Give a man fish/Teach a man to fish" story, but I don't think he ever got his point across. Along those lines, I say ship them some live deer to start their own herd. I've got about a dozen I wish someone would cart off right now.
Meanwhile, back at the thread: In Georgia, you can donate deer at certain collection points, but I don't think you can sell it. You cannot process wild game and domestic animals at the same sites/facilities.
