We thought it would be nice to document how and what were doing. I'm fairly certain the internet is not going away so it should be there when we decided to look back and remenise.

All my family are in England so the blog lets them keep up with what we are doing. My Parents are elderly and will probably never be able to visit and see our farm in "real Life". The blog kind of takes it to them in a way.

I also hope it helps others who might be just starting out in the homesteading life. I'm amazed at how many people had never seen cattle panels until they saw them on my blog! I know It helped at least one of them make a decision about how to fence in their garden to keep the deer out.

I also use it to show some of the art I'm working on. I have a couple of online T-shirt shops and it's nice for the customers to be able to connect the designs with a real person and know it's not some "fly by night"

Come to think of it, if it hadn't been for our neighbor Fred: www.fragmentsfromfloyd.com who once blogged about a farm that was for sale, well, we wouldn't have our little piece of heaven here!

So get blogging deb! You just might have some info that someone else can use! Go to blogger.com to get started. It's real easy.

Pauline

I read your blog almost daily and have for the past 4-5 months. I do find it very interesting. I can't wait to see what the inside of your little cottage ends up looking at. You may very well be one of the most knowlegeable on concrete on this board.
