Praise God! We got rain! It's been raining for two days now and, as far as I'm concerned, it could rain for a week! Everyone in church this morning was talking about this much needed rain.

It has been so very dry here all summer! Our pond is a puddle and the grass crackles! If it weren't for the irrigation system that Roger rigged up, our small garden would ge gone.

Now it's raining .

Cindy, I appreciate the offer darlin, that's very kind of you. We're east of Lexington a ways so probably a long drive for maters. I've got some growing mind ya, just in late and with it so dry watering only keeps them alive, not thriving. Just keep us in your prayers that the drought breaks. Still time to cut more hay around here if we get the water for it. Folks are cutting tobacco here already, guess it's better to take a short crop than to loose the whole thing.
The puddles've dried up in the driveway. Sigh. Back to watching for clouds.

Arghhhh! It's raining here again. We aren't supposed to be out of this weather pattern until Wednesday.

Just north of us in WI they have gotten hammered out of this band of rain. Wish we could send it to all of you in the drought areas.

It just started raining here, just this minute. I'm so excited!! It's been looking like southern California desert around here. I hope we get enough to help. My poor sheep have eaten every weed and blade of grass they can reach.

Hey Willie, there is some more rain headed towards you now, hope it gets your place good and wet. It's a little storm. We got some yesterday evening and last night, not pouring, but some.
