I'm sure if they took an open container of rabbit poo, they knew what it was, but they might not have opened the covered container till they got home, assuming it was more of the same.

I was at my sister's apartment complex enjoying a meal with family, many moons ago, and took a bag of corn cobs and meat scraps out to my car to take home to my chickens. It was a hot day and didn't want the smell in my car so left it sitting on top of the car until I was ready to leave. I went out later to leave and the bag was gone. I started laughing because I could only imagine the look on the thief's face when they opened the bag later...I saw the bag and contents scattered down the street a bit later. I giggled all the way home.
