I have named the dog. Her name is "Maybe Bell Baby", but I will call her Bell. Thanks for the suggestions. Bell has stuck.

I won't get my truck until Sunday, and only if my friend says it's ok. Once I get it, there will be pictures of the blue beast.....and all the places she takes me too

There is someone helping me with the gun thing. He has suggested a Colt .45 revolver or something similar. It's got to be a handgun, but he says a revolver can fire a big enough bullet for bears and suck. Something like that anyways. I probably won't name the gun...

Thanks
Jena

I have not seen any wooden trouts hanging around, but if you are talking about the one that is built over the creek...it's still there.

A couple weeks ago I drove up I-90 to highway 14, then went over to Greybull, down that godforsaken side of the mountains and took 16 back over to Buffalo. I should have just turned around and went back over the mountains at Greybull, but I didn't know that country was so darn ugly over there. Shell Canyon and all that was pretty cool.

Tensleep is a nice little town. All the guests went to the rodeo there on the fourth of July (I stayed home...can't sit still to watch a rodeo).

I tried to hike up to the top of Crazy Woman Mt the other day, but missed it by one peak. I could've gotten there, but didn't have enough daylight left...I will try again later. There are some pics that I took from up there on the same website as the dog pics...I don't think I labled them yet, but they are the ones from waaaay up high.

I would love to take some horses up through the wilderness. I ought to be able to get that done eventually. I'm not much of a rider, but horseback beats feet.

Jena....thats the one.its been a long time since i been up that canyon.back then the little cabin was painted up with real bright colors and and had some kind of fish(trout)hanging on the front of it or out by the road.as you go up that canyon and you get to where the canyon walls close in on youthose hug rocks are awesome.....i hope i am remebering the correct canyon...lol....but off to your right going up creek.there is a mtn that is mostly loose rock.its a pretty high one....i climbed that almost 20 years ago(1990).i stayed in buffalo mostly back them....at a little place that has rental cabins on the edge of town with a court yard and a big game pole in the court yard for hanging elk and deer.back then they had a drive through liquor store there...lol...i couldnt believe that one.be careful out in the mtns...there are mtn lions and grizz there.by the way...on the gun....get a 44 mag revovler...like a ruger.you can get ammo everywhere for it.
