How about Rocky and Bullwinkle? Or Boris and Natasha?
Sorry. Injection of Canadian humor there....

I had a car once I named "Dog" after Croche's song about LeRoy Brown (Meaner than a Junkyard Dog)...the car was bought from a junkyard and ran like a champ...then, I got a cat that looked like a drowned rat. Seeing as "RAT" wouldn't be a good name for a cat, we called him "Mouse". Then got a black Lab...mouse and dog was already taken, so called him "Cat". Imediate family was good with all this but it confused the devil out of strangers.
Anyway, Jeep is a GREAT name for your Aussie! You want the name to fit and be quick to say, and sharp...important for a dog with a job!
I kinda like Blue for the truck, but Ol Dog is good too. Kinda all depends on the sex of the truck and its personality..

I like "Old Blue" for the truck.
My 6 year old DD says the dog should be "Pip Pop"
My 12 year old DD says the dog should be "Spunky" or "Sparky"
My 8 year old DS says the dog should be "Maxine"
My 10 year old DD says she should be "Maggie"
and my 3 year old DS says she should be "Lassie" LOL.

Love the pup, she's adorable!
The truck sounds like an awesome find, hope it works out for you.
I like keeping things simple.

Our Aussies were named Jesse (as in jesse james) Cody, and Nicki. Nicki passed away at 15 yrs. last year. She was bred in the Copper Canyon line and was working bred. Jesse is bred in the Bayshore line and is show dog stock (fat and lazy, no offense to show dog people! Their son is Cody, who is young (like ten yrs LOL)and still going strong. I like the western sounding names for Aussies myself. Cheyenne, Cody etc.
I know what you mean about Aussie puppies especially females...being like velcro. The weekend I met Nicki, we were pet sitting her. She was 4 months old and dying for attention. She learned sit, stay, shake hands and lay down in that one weekend. When her owners came home my DH asked them, how much money do you want for her? We couldn't give her up! I miss her alot. Good dogs like that are hard to find. If you've got one cherish every minute. Take care, Mary.

For some reason this thread got me singing James Taylor's: Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon.!
I'm gonna cash in my hand and
Pick up on a piece of land
And build myself a cabin back in the woods
Lord, it's there I'm gonna stay
Until there comes a day
When this old world starts to changing for the good
Now the reason I'm smiling is over on a island
On a hillside in the woods where I belong
I wanna thank Jimmy, Jimmy, John, Nick and Laurie
The No Jets Construction for setting
Me down a homestead on the farm
Mud Slide, I'm depending upon you
Mister Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon

Hm. How about Nicole for the dog (Nicole Kidman is a blue-eyed australian)?
Have you tried asking her what her name is, or watching her to see what other dogs call her? My cat's name in cat is row-WUL?--approximately 'Raoul'. Sometimes you can get a name that works in English but is derived from what animals use among themselves. (And if you don't believe animals have names among other animals in a pack, then why do they so unerringly pick up on the concept very early in their interactions with humans? The concept of a 'name' is pretty abstract, if you contemplate it.)
For the truck--1964--have you considered looking at musical hits from that era? Name it after an artist, band, or song that was popular?

Beautiful little girl, Jena! So happy to hear you're happy there!
I'm not good at naming - my pup (aggie) went through the names Kate, Abby & Maggie before the name aggie stuck.

I was thinking "Pearl" for the dog, too. But she also looks a little like Lauren Bacall or Jessica Savitch. 'Spoze you could call her "Jessica Savage", but she looks pretty sweet-natured.

I’ll admit I haven’t read all the responses, but Nicole sounds right.
When I saw the picture of the pup, Rio came to mind.
It’s from the Duran Duran song …
“Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand”
It’s because she’s almost sand colored is the reason that came to mind.
As for the truck, Mickey, because of Mickey Blue Eye’s.
Just my 2 cents.

Azure for the dog
Azure is a color, about halfway between blue and cyan, which resembles the sky on a bright, clear day
