OK! Took me a bit to find this link, but here are a slew of free or very very inexpensive plans offered through the Cooperative Extension. Gotta love 'em!

this is an absolute anf total case of "carpetbagging" by a multi billion dollar business.

the materials will cost you a pile, albeit far far cheaper than a mobil home or new camper.... but 700 bucks for blueprints?

any handyman can sketch out these simple shaker cottages on paper.

These are simple stick frame sheds with some pretty enhancements....
I saw the Lowes flier and brought it home so dw could see it. The two story one is a dead ringer for our house (except for the shed dormer, which is what I wanted my wife to see). We drew up the plans ourselves and built it. Ours is 16'x24' and our walls are 12' high. we have a 10'x16' loft over the kitchen and no partitions. The loft has knee walls and ample head room We haven't built the stairs yet. That is waiting for the additions we have planned for this fall. We've been using a ladder for 3 years Our beagle can climb the ladder too. The bathroom is out back. This fall we are adding on and will include a bathroom, a utility room, a sun room/seed starting place and some stairs.
