It does. You whack that last board on your own barn or sink that last fencepost on your own fence and the feeling is WAY better.

Really, and seriously everyone. Buy your own land, and improve your own property. Land and gold is pretty much the only things they don't make more of every day.

Didn't you notice the part where I AM buying my own land but it is unimproved and I still need a place to stay until I get my own place built-which do you think would be better-rent an apartment or a homestead where I can raise my own food & get my livestock ready for the move to my own place?

Sounds like a good deal if you want to dip your toe in.

My payments on 120 acres are only $500 a month(actually $6200 a year 1 anuall payment)
So you pays your money and takes your choice.
