Down 14.42 inches here.Burn ban in effect.Wild fires. And hurricane season is just around the corner. The garden is doing terrible.I cut my hand on the gas grill. Also found a Black Widow in the grill. Now a former Black Widow. And finally the folks from down the road decided to stop and puke in my driveway. Lightweights.

I've been watching the weather forecast since last Monday for the plateau on the net. It wasn't suppose to rain the first day. Storms and showers for Thursday. Then it wasn't suppose to rain and storms for this Friday. Then there was a 30% chance for Sun and today (it did cloud up)and 40% for Thursday and Friday. NOW its no chance today till Sat when its now 30% Sun Mon and then 60% Tuesday.
Obviously they don't have a clue. Easier to read coffee grounds. But they know exactly what happened 20,000 years ago. REALLY!

I'd be willing to do the nekkid moon dance too. I had to go do some work for my folks this weekend. Cracks in the ground big enough to put your hand in. It took me half an hour to dig 2 post holes a foot deep each simply because the ground was so hard baked. Daddy always says it won't rain until God wants it to. My response is yep, but that don't keep me from praying for it anyway!

I didnt realize how dry it is until we started leveling off ground for the pool digging has been a pain yesterday we were trying to make sure there were no rocks in the area but its hard to tell the difference between rocks and old dry dirt clods. but on the up side of things theres no mucky area down by the barn its the only time that area has been bone dry.

It won't stop raining here! It rained yesterday and again last night. My arthritis is hurting so badly I can hardly type. We're supposed to get rain for the rest of the week too. I hate to gripe about the rain but if it keeps up I won't be able to walk.

Us too! We're 2 for 2 this year already.

Have hay down and go water your gardens well. If that doesn't make it start to cloud up, wash your car and leave the lawn tractor outside.
