This morning on the way to work the cheapest unleaded regular was $3.32. But since it's Friday, by the time I leave work this afternoon I'm sure it will be up to at least $3.39.

3.32 for unleaded and 2.76 for diesal. And they are talking about another 0.05 a gallon by tonight at our local station. We have cut out all unneeded trips and are trying to figure out a way to car pool to work.

$3.56 in the North Suburban Chicago area.

When I filled up yesterday, I found a receipt from exactly two months ago. It was only $2.41. How in the world can they justify jacking up the price over a dollar a gallon in just two months???

I am so disgusted.

Glad that DS brought my CJ back yesterday. The sooner we drop that diesel in there, the better. This is just absolutely insane.

When I went to work yesterday morning (around 4:30 a.m.), the three places to buy gas in the small town I work in had gas at $3.50. When I got off work at 4:00 p.m., all three places had their prices at $3.55! (In Washington state.)

Ouch. It's going to get to where people won't be able to afford to go to work!

Blame the N Y S E & Futures traders

The prices are set months in advance if not A year. Just look at the newspapers Stock market section. The futures Traders will set A price for Say July. And thats what the fuel sells for. So what do they care if it costs them an extra Hundred A week. They are Making Millions of there buys. The prices for grain are set the same way.. Ever watch the Movie with Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroid? it had Jamie Lee Curtis in it. It was about the greedy traders Setting the price on Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate. But that is the Way the markets are in some area..

$3.29 at the Helena Jiffy Trip.......$3.25 around here (northwest Okla--Cleo Springs, Fairview, Orienta) on Thursday.....it was $3.14 in Enid on Tuesday

I try not to pay attention to it.....we have to have gas so I just try to limit the driving to conserve what I do have.....as far as at the pump, I just pump it!

3.159 here in the foothills of NC.... I don't think these big gas tycoons realize they have to face a judgement one day, but of course they're not worrying about death right now while they fill their pockets with the filthy lucre.
