Well sorry I didnt get a chance to get on the computer any sooner than this. We lost our little bunny earlier in the week. At least we tried. Thank you all again very much for your help and information. Its probably best in a way because our oldest son likes to hunt rabbits in the winter and would have always wondered if that was the same one he set loose from a baby
When I asked him about that he said he didnt have a problem shooting them in the winter when theyre adults be he hated to see them die when they are babies. While I was gone at work that day they had a short memorial service. They buried the rabbit and placed a 12 inch concrete cinder block over the top of it so nothing would dig it up and placed some flowers.
Thanks again for all the help.

Thanks for the update. Because of my own mixed experiences, I was wondering how it was going. They seem to do that, though; go along like they're going to survive and just up and die after a period of time.

You have the same attitude I have, though: at least you tried. My kids and I can't ignore a critter that appears to need help but we've learned from experience that all we can do is give it our best shot and hope for the best.

Sometimes it works; mostly, unfortunately, it doesn't.

Janis
