How many are one income families?

We just started this in early Feb. I am staying home now that we have our homestead. Hubby (Arkander) telecommutes from home and I help my dad get the farm going. We are currently starting the garden, orchard, chickens, bees, and goats. I am so glad I quit and stayed home. I wouldn't have the energy to do all this stuff if I were working too. Erin

We are one income. I have always been home unless I want to do inventory for a store or something to have some mad money to go to the fabric store. We made the decision 27 years ago that I would stay home and do what needed done for our family. We decided that someone needs to be out of the worldly arena of dog eat dog and paying attention to the family. We have never regretted it.

Someday I hope to get back to college myself. Not for a job - just for the education. That has been the one thing that has totally miffed my soul - to be considered as "less than" without a college degree - even as a volunteer at the school or in the PTA or working on school board committees. ARG!!!
