Thanks to everyone for the nice comments!
It's been 15 months since it hit the ground and sometimes I wonder if it will ever get done (but I know it will). My current target is to get the final inspection sometime this summer. I've started to get tradesmen involved to speed up things but dang things can get costly when you pay folks for their time. Sweat equity is certainly more affordable but it seems to take me three times as long when I do it by myself. This project is being done debt-free so I have to be really careful with expenses. I know this will be my last house and never intend on selling it. It is my dream becoming reality.
