We own 80 at the farm and lease 68 next to it and we have 15 at our house. I would say we use all ours, garden on part, orchard/vineyard, honeybees and fish...We hike, stroll and enjoy it all.. Queen Bee

We have 26 but it is mostly up and down. If you flattened it out, it would be a lot more LOL.

We have 10. 6 to 7 in timber. Working on picking up an adjoining 10 which is also all timber.

The front ~4 acres is house, barn, and pasture. I'd really like to find some pure pasture ground close by.

How big is the farm

We have 120 acres all in one place. about 40 open, the rest in trees, we have about 8 we use as yard, orchard, gardens thats plenty to keep us busy. The rest if for distance between us and the world. We have 13,000 pines we planted in 96 and 25 acres of hardwoods that are ready to be harsested probably next year.

I have 40[paid for!] acres...about 5 are cleared, the rest in forest. There are 900+ acres of national forest that borders my place on 3 sides...nearest neighbor is 2 miles away, which sometimes isn't far enough............ :baby04:

20 acres, all flat and usable perfectly rectangular. Minus the 2 acres for the homestead, 18 acres of production land with irrigation well and water rights.

Five here. Next to State Park land (Farragut State park parcel) so it feels like more.

Would like to have a few SECTIONS if'n I could afford it (I can't). OH well.

We own 33 acres tillable and another 25 we let the moose, bear and deer use.
I hope to retire to the "county" in two years! :baby04:
