Although I mispoke the issue by not being complete, and do agree with you that incorrect and incomplete combustion of diesel can contain dangerous amounts of CO, I still stand by that a diesel tractor wouldn't have put out enough CO to kill 20 some cows a dog and the farmer. The fumes would run you out long before the CO would kill you, I would think.

Of course, maybe if it was a diesel it was an old out of tune one, I don't know... Regardless, running any vehicle indoors is not smart.
