Maybe not, but the parents are obviously tougher. YOU try being locked in a house with some wound up kids for four days straight! If school is out one more day, they will have to issue straight jackets to all of us. Not sure yet whether it will be for the kids or parents.

balmy

We just had about 5 inches of snow today, so it was a balmy 2 above. Tonight, it's supposed to get back below zero and we'll have drifting problems. I work at a gas station and I gotta tell ya, it's gonna be a boring night because nobody is going to want to be out when the drifting starts. Our schools have been delayed or closed too. Part of that is the cost of heating the buildings, part is the problem with keeping cars running.

I still have no back window in my pick-up, though, and it makes for a chilly ride.

We are on the edge of that snow system you just got hit with. There will be drifting here tonight too. But they already said DEFINITELY SCHOOL TOMORROW.

They actually have all the mechanics going out to the busses (rural district where the drivers take their busses home) to start them tonight.

We got about 7" today and it's not quite done. School closing reports are trickling in now, but I haven't heard about ours yet. Ours was closed Monday and today and I am oh, so ready for them to go to school.
