Building ones own greenhouse

Wow, that's exactly the sort I want to build. Did you design that yourself, or is it from a kit?

Motivation for another winter project!

My husband and I built a 12x12 foot green house by scrounging for most of the materials. We had footer holes dug and used rail road ties for the footers. We used pvc panels for the roof and will be putting them around the sides next month. These panels are clear and lets lots of sun in. Because I wanted my green house to last, I purchased these panels. The bottom of the green house is permanently enclosed and is surrounded by scrap lumber I got from my brother when he was building his house. It looks almost like a log cabin on the bottom. Very rustic. Now I'm researching about thermo heating and passive solar to heat it. I do not want to use electricity since we will be off the grid soon with alternative enenrgy.
