I have a Great Pyrenees and 2 llamas. This is a new Pyr, because the previous one killed a cria last year. Terrible story, he came from a litter that had some screws loose. Several of his littermates did the same thing. So, we are watching this one very carefully.
The llamas are a hoot. I love them. They are very protective. I have watched them work, and they keep themselves between the pacas and anything strange like neighborhood dogs or other wild things.
I brought home my little pig and he is contained in my garden spot, but the llamas worried about him for a week!
The best thing about the llamas is they eat and are cared for the same as the pacas. I swear I pay more for dog food than anything else!

Nice to meet you, have a great day!
