Im gona have to put the plow on tonight. we got a foot of snow during the last 2 days. It wouldnt bother us if I drove the truck every day, but I drive a car to save fuel, and I have a couple snow plow accounts who only have cars

We don't have a lot of snow; but the temp. is minus two degrees this morning. Our school is closed because the buses won't start. It looks like we may have winter after all.

What do y'all use to move yours.

City house, snow blower, 4-wheeler w/ blade if over 10".
"The Place" hobby homestead, tractor w/ back blade/bucket.
Thinking about blade for the truck.

I use a Ford 8N with a back blade. I sure hope we get more snow soon. I was out plowing the same snow yesterday. Because it was so powdery and drifting it looked like there was more snow than there actually was so I got excited and started up the snowmobile. What a disappointment. It was one short bumpy ride.

We used to just drag our snow - frustrating but with some patience it works ok for light snow. Basically we use our 4x4 truck to drag a big heavy railroad tie with a heavy chain. It's like what you do to drag a horse riding arena to level the dirt, etc. It doesn't really plow, just levels.

The last few years we have had way too much snow to do this and our ancient pre-WWII track vehicle is broken.
