Abandoned Cash? You bet. The other day I was rearranging a few things in my "Bug Out Bag" and at that time I abandoned $15 in the bag. That would be one roll of quarters, and one roll of dimes. The change is money even if everything is shut down. Also makes a pretty good blackjack if nestled down in the toe of a sock (a black sock). I guess it would be a whitejack if it is in a white sock. I am thinking of abandoning some more cash here and there around the property, from time to time as funds are available.

Truth is, I always get $25.00 cash each week and have for many years.
Don't know why I picked that amount but it works for me.
Unless I am taking a trip, that is all I ever need and I usually have most of that left after the weekend.
It does come in handy when the stores scanner is down and I have no checks on me. It has happened. Sometimes I deposit some back into the bank because I have acumulated too much in my purse.
