Turtle, consider yourself lucky, its pretty much 10%method, 135%work. but an investment, good installed fence is usually low maintenance. poorly installed fence depending on howmuch you have and what kind of animals...could be hours of maintenance per week.

I'm guessing with all the advise you got you could go out and build a pretty snappy fence now. Plus you know, no matter how much we might tease I'd say most folks here are happy to lend advise, or even a hand if you're close enough.
As for the saying, wish I could take credit for that one, it's a corker no doubt. I have to give credit to that Ernest T Bass looking character for that (still can't remember his name). Were I to claim credit he might chunk a brick through my winder.
