I come to this forum to learn, to swap homesteading ideas, share things that work for me and did not work for me, I have too much of a life to watch soap opras on the idiot box much less read them on the internet.
Fantasymaker is now a poster that I just skip, as not worth my time, the people that over see the forum do a good job this one just slipped by but should have been removed. This is just my opinion for what that is worth.

You wasted how much time replying to this? How much more you going to waste on my reply? Go go FantasyMaker! Thanks for thr good laugh this morning!

I find this very plausible and probably did happen..I grew up in small towns and in the country around them.......Also here in Germany it is not out of the question to pull into a rest area on the autobahn at night and find things similair happening....I pulled into a rest area one evening to take a leak and there was a beautiful blonde laid out on a picnic table partying with SEVERAL men........But then most Europeans are more open minded about these things ..LnE

The last time I found a truck in my driveway and someone hunting on my land they came back with slashed tires and it pushed out of my drive into the woods.
now I wonder who could've done such a thing.
Needless to say they haven't hunted on my land since.

I was with a group of friends, all of us naked and in lake water, or jumping off a boat dock into the water, we were about 19 yrs old, when the Sheriff's Dept came along and with pulled guns ordered us out of the water. Naked kids were lining up when I called out from the water "Uncle Billy Uncle Billy!"

My Uncle Billy was a Captain with Sheriff's Dept and at that moment was standing on the lake bank lining up naked people.

There was only a pause, then he shouts "Boys! Get back in them cars!" and made the Deputies get back in cars. Then he shouts to me and says "Git them clothes back on and get your A.... out of here and don come back!"

So no one was arrested and we left. It was fun!

i have an locked entrance just deep enough for my truck and a small trailer. i find trash there several times a year so i knew it was being used for parking but the winner was the day i found an empty beer bottle, half a bottle of winecooler on a gate post, an empty jar of pickles, and to top it all off, they stole my 911 sign. that must have been quite a memorable night.

Now I have to say that *someone* has a very narrow view of what women do and don't do!

I carry just a wallet. I carry cash in one pocket and change in another because it is convenient. A purse is not convenient, it's luggage. It's socially-sanctioned crapola luggage. It's something for a mugger to grab. For day-to-day stuff I don't need all that pursey garbage, so long as I can find clothing with pockets in.

I also carry a Leatherman. Does that not mesh with what you think of as what a woman carries? I find it comes in danged handy!

Fantasymaker, this sort of thing happens in small town corn country all the time. I just laughed out loud when I read this, it sounds quite true to life. Our next door neighbors were doing similar shenanigans, and they aren't in their 20s or 30s. Alcohol is usually involved which answers the question: why in heck ...? And they thought no one knew what was up; well they don't know how folks just love to talk! Anyone with an ounce of experience can easily believe this story ... I was in some wee hours alcohol-related stupid scenarios of my own back in the day.

I thought your idea to park on their clothes was inspired. I'll keep it in mind. Heh.

Turns out with all the townies here they just pushed it out.The upside to that was I got to watch them all get flung with mud.The downside was no cost to them.
Now while all them fine folks were hanging around someone went thru the clothes and grabbed the girls wallet.
The dumb thing had pictures of herself with various men in there doing, ahhem,"adult" activities. And they passed them round pretty fast. Hubby was outraged thretening to kill people if he didnt get them back.Stopped him dead in his tracks when one of the guys said isnt this your dad with her? FIL(his dad) went into a major tirad. Turns out another of the pics is Hubby with another guy and her ...so he knew!...well at least some I dont think he knew about his dad.
The guy I caught with her last night wasn't in any of them. Funny thing two fights broke out over this, not the hubby of FIL and not guys who were in the pics .Now I wonder whats up with that?

I'm beginning to think you are aptly named, fantasymaker.

Ohh fantasymaker you had better watch out! You will be the next one involved with that particular young lady according to local gossip anyways! Great story, made for good reading.

*raises eyebrows* WOW but your neighborhood is great for soapoperas. Are you SURE you're not in Bedias?? grin.

The one thing we'd have done different is called a wrecker to haul off the second truck. Pulling it further onto my property could have been construed as car theft. It's legal to have traspassing vehicles towed at the owner's expense. They would have had to pay to get it back, after they figured out where it was.

I have learned to stay the heck outta the middle of other peoples' problems. It's funny to snicker from the sidelines but it's non of my business and I dont belong in the middle, besides....it can get DIRTY in the middle and I'm getting old. I like to be clean, warm, and dry. grin.

Congrats on your giggle. Kinda feel really bad for the girl's hubby though. Sounds like he's going through hell right now.
