Electric fence wire is dirt cheap. It would only cost a few bucks to buy enough to put up several strands.

If you do that, you HAVE to paint a chalk outline of a person in the dirt... Watch your neighbors.... I think I am going to have to get some of that tape! I am laughing out loud...

In my old county in New Jersey, there are equal numbers of people and deer, but almost no intact gardens!! What worked was anything 8ft tall, on an intense slant. Hope this helps! ldc
