Yes - when it rains heavily, it comes in, and sometimes pools up when it's REALLY heavy. So far, it hasn't come up tothe horizontal furnace, which is on a concrete slab a few inches off the ground. It seems to "go away" on its own fairly quickly, just by seeping down into the ground. But water DOES get in.
