I can't remember. I have something like six podcasts with him where we talk in detail about his work with the peel-and-stick solar stuff, other solar stuff, his work with inventing different kinds of batteries - his first hand knowledge of how there are excellent batteries for cars now, but the oil companies snagged the patents and are sitting on them .... the other 12 versions of his electric tractors, the electric cars he has built, why electric cars are better that gas or diesel .... I think this is the first of many:

And, he is the guy with the outhouse carved from one big chunk of wood:

It is a great concept and when I get a chance I will listen to the podcast. It would be nice to have more practical details about the battery power and solar set up.

I googled the panels and I can't even find where they have reached the production phase yet. The prices I have seen for a regular home solar kit range from $15,000-$100,000 depending on the company and function.

The realistic use and affordability are what is really going to be important to the average American homesteader. At this point, the tractor doesn't seem to be in the ballpark but years down the road it is something to look forward to.

This reminds me of the concept cars that come out of Detroit.

I recorded the podcast last summer/spring. I have a vague memory that the pee-n-stick stuff was about twice the price per kwh.
