Yesterday was a blessing -- sunny and 72*, which is much nicer than we've been having around here! Today is still sunny, but it's in the 40's.

Snow is just lovely -- in pictures. After the first snowfall of the year, I'm about done with it. "Thank you very much, so lovely, no more for me, now please melt away..."

If it just wasn't so darned cold...

Pony!

Low of 14 F tonight, windy 20mph(well, it is for us up here), 1/2 inch snow. Snow in the forcast until Friday. Ground has been frozen for over a week & some lakes have froze over. Hopefully we'll be ice fishing before Thanksgiving this year.

Winter is here & we are ready...well, there's always a few things to get done.

yoohoo Sisterpine! My DS called me yesterday, guess hwere he was? That's right good ol Butte Mt! He was thrilled to see the place again but I had to laugh when he said"Hey, I remember that statue as being a whole lot smaller when I was here!" Silly boy, he was only like ten then. (he was referring to the Virgin of the Rockies at least that is what I think it was called)

"We were hoping to drive through Indiana, Illinois, etc, going back to Texas, I guess we had better check the weather before we start home next week.

Well you all perked up my day, just got up and it is about 50 degrees in the house cause i slept with the window open. snow is still on the ground though packing down some- only got down to 11 last night so a warm spell must be enroute though that usually brings more snow. I am off three days this week so will hustle around and get as much of the winter readiness done as possible and then just give the worry to God and get on with my winter duties! sis
