Okay, I’m starting to form several scenarios for why all this might be happening.

1. Possible bio-terrorism
2. Possibly big business using fertilizer from commercial cattle that is full of dangerous chemicals
3. Maybe staged to accelerate an ID program for the food chain, like the NAIS system of animal ID.

I’ve used composted manure on my garden for many years. So have our ancestors. We’ve not got sick from it because we compost it and we don’t stuff our animals full of chemicals that end up in the compost pile.

I use grey water on my garden, but not grey water that contains chemicals such as antibacterial soap, chemical cleaners, etc. Never had a problem with it.

A little common since goes a long ways.

BTW: the new “organic” is not organic at all. My definition of organic is natural without chemicals. Their definition of organic is not using any chemicals other than the ones they have approved.

Nope. Not at all.

There is an overwhelming bias by some _to_ organic stuff. As you can see by the messages between yours & this.

Yet then again, organic is totally bad if it has been blessed by the govt, or if it happens to be raised on sonme undefined 'big' farm.

The only organic that is worth _anything_ acording to some, is their own privately held notion of organic. _anything_ else is just rotten junk.

yet they are never able to define what the differences are.

They are good at using buzz words to pigionhole others. But they are unable to define what it is they think is good.

I'm very much against that attitude.

Organic, natural, and the like is way cool.

I grew up on a farm & still work there. My childhood was apple pies from the apples in our orchard, strawberries & cream with the thick skin from the garden & barn, and unpasturized milk that dad - and later I - milked.

I'm well aware of the oranic standards the govt imposed some years ago - any farmer would be. I'm also aware the original draft was a silly nonsense. The current one is something of value at least. before that, people could talk the double-speak & claim _anything_ was organic because, the word meant nothing. Now at least it means something.

I'm all for organic, or whole, or natural. As long as there are happy buyers & sellers, way cool.

I'm just against the undefined bias one sees from a few on this sort of topic. They huff & puff, but talk in circles that don't add up to anything.

Would like to understand them, but it seems they have nothing to understand. Just their buzz words & unfounded biases that can't be explained. I try tho, pose a few questions, try to figure out the buzz.

Then move on.

_They_ have the unfounded speculation & implication - you don't see that????? My comments here haven't been in any way at all against organic/ natural foods - only thoughts on the general public in this ----ry being too dumbed-down to be able to properly handle them. And yet, you see fit to accuse me of things.... Sigh.

But the organic & natural foods - that's all good.
