Injun Summer

Looks like the Trib hasn't published it since 2000. That's the latest entry I can find in their archives....

You know........ this PC stuff is really over the edge. What's offensive about the picture? That the young boy has an imagination (God borbid) and sees indians dancing in the smoke? That grandpa is smoking? That they are burning the leaves which was banned by the city? Some people really need a life of thier own.

If I could... oh, I would!

But then, DH would be sad... Oh, well. It's a good thing I don't rule the world, eh?

And you're right. This PC stuff is just too ludicrous. No one is allowed to even THINK anything that might possibly be offensive to the most ultra-sensitive pathological borderline....

It's worn beyond thin.

Better check out the NWS website......they are talking of possibly having "flurries" here on Thursday!

The temperature forecast is edging upwards! It went from a high of 39 to a high of 43. Maybe by Thursday, it will go all the way up to 50 resulting in rain instead of rain/snow mix.

I've seen it snow up here in June, August, & September, not this year. We are expecting snow Tues night & looks like it will continue through Thur night 23 F for a low(hey I'll take that over -30 F anyday). 70% chance each day. Then looks like rain/snow mix on Fri. Glad it won't stay very long, ground isn't frozen yet.

Today was a high of 48 F, I was cold with the wind blowing. In Feb, at 48 F, I'm running around in shorts & a tank top trout fishing on the ice. I love MN!

Oh,no,I don't want any snow for as long as possible. I would have sworn the weatherman said they were getting snow in Beckley,WV just a few days ago. That's mountainous, but still too close for comfort, lol. Then again,I may have misheard him, that's just too hard to believe. It was 75 degrees here today~Yay
