LOL, I think the last movie I saw was at the "mall" in Warren. Independence day if I remember correctly... (don't go to the movies too often huh?)

I love the Kinzua Dam also... (ok outsiders, it's pronounced KIN ZOO)

the crazyness begins

Yesterday was spent doing press. Interviewed w/ the Houston newspaper.
then our little local one.
then the radio station. this week-end will be the local ABC news. Then they are talking about a trip to NY for one of the morning shows as an "after math" show/interview.

geesh I really didn’t think about that part of it. I thought the filming of the show was the crazy part! NOT! lol

the good part? I sent them my w-9 so they can submit for the check.. my only problem is, I cant find anywhere the % they tax for an Honorarium. Anybody have a clue?

Cool, Dana.

We had a hard time getting our local PBS station to even air America's Heartland even after we told them we were on it.

Have fun with this!!

I saw it while the wife was watching Grey's anatomy. They didn't show much (that I saw) but you were there, I was reading and her "look, look, look" took me a minute to respond. Same standard tag lines as usual lately "so-and-so bringing country livin to the big city". Wife says she saw pigs?

I saw it, Dana. I saw you on an ATV and driving a red car. I heard "self admitted redneck" and something about the other woman worrying about social status. The rest of the time I was so busy saying, "That's Dana! That's Dana!" that the rest didn't sink in.

Well darn, I didn't see the promo yet! Perhaps I missed a post, but did anyone mention what time it's on? Is it at 8:00? I have to work until 8:00, but as long as I don't get behind any slowpokes I can make it home in 7 minutes. Hopefully I won't miss too much. Congratulations Dana!

Oh my, Clover! Got curious so I went to the local station web page and this was the blurb about mondays show:

Quote:
A wealthy California housewife trades families with a bucolic matriarch living on a farm in Texas.
Being as I am an ignoramous (LOL), I looked that up:

Quote:
Bucolic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Salomon Gessner, Bucolic scenery (1767)Bucolic, although often used as an adjective, is a noun originally describing a type of pastoral poetry that praises rural life over that of the city. The manner of a bucolic is usually somewhat fantastic, and the poetry tends to contrast the pleasant and pure life of the country with the corrupt and corrosive world of society. The term derives from Virgil, and "Bucolics" is a reference to a collection of poems. One set of bucolics was written by Virgil, while Theocritus and others also wrote collections of rusticated poems. In contemporary poetry, W. H. Auden wrote a sequence known as "Bucolics."
So if I get this correctly you "preached" the benefits of the country quite "poeticaly".

Man am I looking forward to seeing this.
