Thank you Bob! We will aim for between 5 and 6. That way there will still be a bit of light left to set up. How is the field? I watched the weather this morning, and it looks like your rainfall totals weren't quite as high as ours, but wet, just the same! We're bringing our knee boots, just in case.

Perhaps this has been discussed already and I missed it, but...what are we doing for the rest of the meals? I had planned to have boiled eggs, fruit, and peanutbutter sandwiches most of the time, but now hubby and son are coming along and I'll be cooking. Is every meal a potluck? Do we just stay in our own little area and hope that no one smells the good things we have cooking and tries to fight us for it? Any plans?

DW is probably not going to make it (on-call and feeling really stressed) so I might drive down tonight, hang out a little, go home and spend the night and come back tomorrow morning.

Is there any time line as to when what activities are going to take place?

The two biggest on the timeline is: noonish for apple cider pressing and 4pm for potluck. Anything else is flexible/optional.

For all who may be living vicariously through one of our get togethers, I will try to get some pictures posted.

BUT...

I just wanted to post, what an excellent time we had. Y'all are some of the finest people we know! (even though some of you are radio broadcast PIRATES!

Thank you so much Bob and Amy for being such wonderful hosts! Everyone was so nice, and we had a blast getting to know all of you! Not only were the adults just as great in person as they are on line, but I thought it was just about the nicest bunch of kids I've ever met. Even the DOGS were cool! Thanks again. We can't wait to see you all again!

I am so glad for those who were able to come out this weekend for our campout. It was such a great time to meet everyone and get to know everyone. My children really enjoyed playing with all the kids. It was such a nice day on Saturday to press cider. Thanks 12vman for downloading the pictures. The potluck was awesome! All the food was great!! I cant wait until our next camping outing!!

Sounds (and looks) like it was great. Turns out I didn't have to *not* tell daughter about it (didn't want her to be disappointed when we can't go anyway) - she ended up camping last night ANYWAY - in SE ohio "Halloween in the Hills" with a campfire group. She had a great time. DH was is in NYC this weekend (gig tonight, back laaaaate tomorrow night). And me with my new job, weekend heavy -there was no way this year.

I'm crossin' my fingers it's good for a second year.

Oh, and "more pictures!!!"

(second one looks like a little ninja taking on a floating pumpkin!)

Is a snapfish link to photos, you have to join to view it. Joining is free. Sorry, I also have a flickr account but they limit your usage (by bandwidth) and I would have eaten a lot of it up just posting these 70 some photos.

By the way Buckeyes, you can order pictures for .12 each, and no I don't get kickbacks, just saying.
