$2.699 hopefully it will continue to drop, but I doubt it. Some comments I heard was that it dropped for Labor Day traffic. A lot of people are staying at home.

($0.89 per liter / $1.10 CDN per USD) X 3.78 liters per US Gallon = $3.05 per gallon three hours ago in Calgary.

That's the lowest it's been in ages. A couple of weeks ago we were paying $1.22 a litre at the same gas station, which translates to $4.31 a gallon US.

$2.87. It's California. They dilute our gas with alcohol then charge us more for it. :sigh:

$2.40 a gal. yesterday. I don't know who stayed home for Labor Day, I drive a truck and had the joy of being out Sun. and Mon. and there must not have been many at home as I had plenty of company on the road.

The price just dropped yesterday to $2.74. This is in Oshkosh, WI. Green Bay is usually cheaper, so I'm guessing they're at about $2.60 or so.

OK, this is what I heard........the reason the gas prices are coming down is.......the Corn Farmers and Hybrid Vehicles and the American Bio Fuel Producers are getting it together and starting to provide an alternative to petroleum based fuels. It means to me that America will decrease its dependance on Middle East oil importation and the US big businessmen CEO's of gas companies will loose money.

I heard that the Oil barons of this country are decreasing the price of gas to drive the corn farmer/bio product producer out of business. After they have driven them out of business the petroleum gas will go back just as high or even higher than it was.

Something to think about.....not sure what to do???? Just felt like posting what I heard.
