If I never drive a hummer again after this tour it will be to soon, I must have logged hundreds of hours in one here, why would anyone want one?

The desire to drive a hummer is probably the same reason young men want to drive tanks and fire engines. It's the thrill of doing something not everyone has done.

I had a personal friend at that show that knew the guy. This was a regional Quarter horse show and Just to show horses at that show you have a few dollars in your pockets. Now that being said,, I only brought it up to show that even people with money sometimes does not show in how they dress.

The one or two multi-millionaires that I know look just like your average person. They are wearing jeans and a polo shirt for the guys, and summer pants suits or jeans and top for the ladies.

BUT, if you watch closely and know them long enough you will see the evidence of more cash.

I have found that the almost rich are the ones making sure you know they have money, and spend a lot of that money on the clothes to show you that they have money....

When you have the money, you don't have to prove it....

I'd say take some of that money and have fun!

Stay at a really nice inn. The kind with turn down service, soft bathrobes for your use, incredible mountain top views, and an on-property spa with a great masseuse. Indulge in a great bottle of wine and a 7-course dinner.

You only get one go-round in this life, why not enjoy yourself every now and then? Buy a fabulous piece of art. Take a trip you've always thought about. Do something to build a memory for yourself. I'm not saying blow every last cent, but we all need a break from our routines sometimes.

Make the money work for you, use it as a tool. If you feel guilty taking up someone's time then tip them or give them a gift cert. to a resturant. They will be happy and remember you in a good way.

Have fun but remember the most important rule of wealth...You might fool the wealthy but you'll never fool the help. That being said, dress in NICE slacks and a NICE pressed shirt. If you can buy either at the nearest dept store then you aren't NICE enough. Yes, wealthy people rarely "look" as though they have money but they always have the patina of money. It's all in the details.

I wish I knew of some lodges you could explore or fishing trips you could try out. But unfortunately you have to pay in advance for those. Maybe something with Bass Pro Shops or one of the outfitter stores?

I think I would have to check out a Rolls...

Just got to thinking about something.A friend was at my Shack, asked her if she wanted to go with me over to my Moms? She said yes.Get her over there her eyes just lit up looking at the Vehicals,Boats and House. Hey its all on Paper.

Know a Guy that had plenty of money, his Sister in Law told him that her Sister only married him for his money,so he gave it all away.Whats funny she has stayed with him for years So maybe it wasn't for the money.

I don't understand why anyone would want to pretend to be something they are not. But if thats what you want ..then whats stopping you? Go do whatever your big heart desires ..and have fun doing it. When the joy runs out ..then go find some other game to play.

On the 'looking' wealthy thing...My dad had money-and Every yr. he purchased a new car (usually a caddy, sometimes a luxury car) and paid cash for it and would give the salemen $500.00 tip after the contracts were signed.. BUT he never went to the same dealership twice in a row and he never wore nice clothes.... He would wear his worn but clean clothes, sometimes they would not even match, his shoes were always sandals or cloth boat shoes w/ his toe shining thru (he was a clothes horse and thought nothing of spending 200$ on a pr. of shoes, 150$ for a shirt and dressed to a 'T' always) but if the salesperson acted snobby he would not buy from them.. IF the salesperson was nice, showed him lots of respect, interest then he would buy the car from them, give them the 500$ and tell them to be sure to tell the other salesman "about treating people the same'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a thought QB

Go for it Tinknal. The places that offer you free stays and free goodies for sitting in on seminars about thier slaes pitch know a certain amount will buy and some won't.

Set your mind to it that you intend to be one of the ones that don't buy and enjoy the freebies.
