Again ..how do we know what pyrnad's pre-purchase search did or did not turn up?

Wouldn't it be ironic if somebody knew about the leech field before the neighbor's property was purchased?

Pyrnad said the new surveys showed the property lines where she thought they were. Earlier she stated that they were tilling ontop the septic tank. Im thinking she knew that the leech was over the line, and had it surveyed to prove it.

It's a reasonable deduction the person who sold the property to Pyr knew as they must have installed it... unless it is much older than we've been led to believe.

For what Dave? Possible retaliation of the midnight call? Taking the threat against her dogs out of context? No one would do that would they?

What if there were no previous problems that occurred between pyrnad and those neighbors? How would this all play out then? What if you were the neighbor in that situation?
I'm assuming because they bought the property that the septic is running from.
Seems that would make them legally responsible for the run off? I'm not saying they should be held responsible from a moral stand point but we are talking about the legal system here.
It is very confusing as Melco said earlier.

Well id like to think she would be far more reasonable about things.Ive read nothing that leads me to believe other wise.I no i would be.Although i would want something in writing stating I'm not responsible for the leech field in anyway.Theres bound to be some legal way to protect your self in ether circumstance.Thinking that might be what cabin fever meant about the mortgage insurance.
If i were the neighbor i don't think things would have played out this way.As i highly dought i would have followed the road they chose to travel.

You know - this doesn't have to turn into a slinging match AGAIN.

While I don't agree with the premises tsdave and Qwispea are proposing, this being an open board, they have the right to say them. Just as those reading them have the right to not agree with what they are posting.

But, by behaving in an un-civil way to a post you don't agree with, all you are doing is pouring lighter fluid on to the match.

At this point there is enough lighter fluid on that poor match that it would take a fire truck or two to put it out.

Why don't you post what you believe, and can the accusations against ones that you don't agree with? It seems that all of us could be more civil in posting in respects to others.

Won't hurt to try it, will it?

Angie

And I wasnt talking to YOU, Qwispea. Sorry but if you take your own logic, you have no business responding to what I said, do you. I guess then you are trolling responding to my post. Cant have it both ways can you.

TSdave said "most people". That includes me. Any post here is fair game to respond to when its in the public posting.

Qwispea, you know though...it really is entertaining to watch you flip flop sides on this in every thread on it.

The first thread you were against her....the second one you apologized and defended her...third, woops, flip flop....fourth, you felt bad for her situation and said she was doing what she could...and now? woopsie again, the flop time.

When ya decide what side you are on this time, for sure, let me know, k?

Ok, we've been updated... let's lock this thread down and wait until the lawyers hash it out and then you can all resume fighting.

Or you can take it to GC and get into a real good sparring match and even get some fresh input from the folks who never leave there...

GC oh no.It isn't that bad is it.
Oh come on now we can play nice cant we?
We are kinda getting some where. At least now i can see where tsdave and Qwispea are coming from.Looks more like direct questions or statements in the last few post and less of attack for no unknown reason to me anyway. Which is why i think things get so heated or results in name calling in the first place.

Oh. My. Word.

I actually said out loud while reading this:

"Will you guys just SHUT UP?" Do you have any idea how asinine and petty you look to all the other members of this board?

What is it with the vendetta against Pyrnad?

If it was me, and I was reporting what MY LAWYER said to me, I wouldn't have all the other answers to the "questions" (read: accusations) beings fired at me. That would be what I rely on my lawyer for, with his entire 2 large walls of big, thick books of laws and interpretations of them on his walls.

Please, PLEASE, can't we have TWO threads devoted to this? One in which a certain three members can fling all the poop they want, and one in which everyone else can hear what is going on?

Melanie, and everyone else. DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!!!! They are feeding on everyone's upsetment with them. They enjoy it. Perhaps it gives them a perverse sense of power. Then they can cabal with one another about how they agree with one another and how "right" they all are.

Not every one agrees with Pyrnad and can see other issues are involved, some of us can see posting is just an open attack fest and wont go there.

Im with locking it out period.Just a hate fest,no more.Worst thread ever.

Thanks for the update! I've been following this from the beginning and hope that the armchair lawyers that want to bicker semantics leave this thread alone starting now. Unfortunately, they've already started in on this thread.

It makes no difference what they think or say or argue as they are not involved in this, other than chiming in with their thoughts and tearing everything apart. Moral of the story, if you are not involved with this (you aren't) then leave it alone and if nothing else just read this thread to learn what questions you need to ask about before purchasing property in the future.

Anyways, wishing you the best of luck Pyrnad!

Sorry, I meant "title insurance."

Since everyone has been updated and has had a chance to speak their opinion, I beleive it's time to close this thread.
