Frazzle - any chance of posting completed pics? How is the floor holding up? What was the sealer that you used?

Looks good, the only thing I would have done different is counter sink the holes and plug them. Otherwise looks good.

I would like to know the brand of finish also, as I need to do the T & G pine planking at "The Place".
Thank and looks like a fantastic job!

Very nice indeed! It's a great look and now I have an idea of what my floors will look like I'm planning on wide plank pine flooring once I get the addition finished. Right now, I walk directly into the livingroom from outside - NOT great when it's -40 and the wind's blowing the snow inside! Some people think I'm crazy to want pine plank with 4 dogs...but I LOVE the 'aged' look, so I really am not worried about scratches and dents I think DH would also agree with ponyboy123 in using the deck screws instead of the drywall screws.
Our addition will have acid stained concrete floors - DH loves working with concrete, and I'm holding out for a new countertop in the kitchen to go with my concrete dining table!

The sealer is Wearmax from Trustor, so is the topcoat. They cost an arm and a leg, but did go on nicely. The downstairs could use another coat of the topcoating, but that's on hold for awhile.

The stain and sealant turned out really nice, IMHO. The gaps between the floor boards are inevitable and do catch crumbs and stuff, but it's okay by me. Many people would probably be bothered by the lack of a tight fit, but I think it adds character. We have scratches and dings and marks from the dog's claws when he got overexcited, but I don't think it detracts from the look at all.

There are a few pictures here:

I've been planning to do this for years. Thanks for the link. Looks like a pretty good site.
