Bred and buttered in Ill-noise, home of corrupt politicians.

Our State Motto: The Worst Politicians Money Can Buy.

Okay, okay, you got me. Chicago is a separate kingdom from the rest of the state, and if you live within 50 miles of the city limits, you're still in Chicago. And frankly, folks, it's starting to get to me... I don't know how much more I can take it... I think I'm going CRAZY!!!!

Hmm... I'm thinking of starting a charitable fund...

Get Pony Out Of Chicago, or GPOOC.

Save a poor Pony from living in the shadow of the HUGE METROPOLIS!! Take her away from the heat, the political morass, the agony of living under the continually growing and increasingly loud flight path of ORD!! (That stand for Orchard, or O'Hare International Airport).

Picture the Pony running free in the country, red mane blowing in the wind! Picture all her little farmyard friends... see her in the garden... nibbling an apple from a tree...

Yes, YOU can make it happen!

GPOOC

Pronounce it any way you want, but do give generously!

LOL! I kill me!!!

Pony!

Right now I'm about 2 feet from h*ll but that should change here in the next 12 hours. You people in the east, get ready for a blast of heat that will burn your grass and melt your flowers. Thank God it's almost out of here.

Yikes!

I guess Virginia's got a ton of homesteaders! Sorry.

Well, maybe the five polls for different regions would work best. Or maybe no poll at all and just let folks post their responses? Nice to see the response this thread is generating though. Interesting to see where everyone is from, even though a lot of you already show it in the upper right corner.

No feelings hurt here. I'm sure that would be way to involved to get all states and countries and providences listed.
Just curious as to where others are located and if they don't post after taking the poll, you won't know.

Other - Central California. I make that distinction because I don't want to be associated with LA and San Fran.

Go here, it is a map and you can enter your location and chat with other HT members. According to the map, there are a lot of members in midwest, mideast, ohio vally.

There is currently about 350 HT members there.
