It is so easy for everyone to spout off about doing this and that until you are the one in that situation. Calling the authorities is one thing. Running over to someone elses' property to free the dog or water the dog or steal the dog.... that is a good way to end up in jail or on the wrong end of a shotgun, especially with people that have that kind of mind set. Also, as far as knowing what goes on in the house, some people are very vocal and loud. I have had neighbors whose business was broadcast all over the area because they had no clue what discretion was. Even with my windows closed I could still hear their arguing. Are there 2 sides to every story? Sure, but I don't see where Donsgal did anything wrong. Just my 2 cents...

donsgal, how bout you offer to buy the other dog off of them? Nothing outstanding... just a little to get the dog off thier hands. you could foster or maybe even keep it?

That is really sad. Reading all this makes me glad that my nearest neighbor except my brother's family is miles away. I would hate to live next to someone and have that kind of relationship, have to worry about their kids in my stuff or even how they care for their animals. I enjoy being just us...if my brother doesn't do something right I can just smack him upside his head
