Good luck!!

I just passed the 3 month mark and it has been the hardest thing I've ever done. I kept mint lifesavers on me all the time for the first few weeks. They really helped.

I quit 4 yrs ago and I am 45 this year....the best thing I ever did. I didnt quit cold turkey.....what I did was put off the "first" cigarette for as long as I could...my aim to go longer each day until I was having my first cig at 6 pm at night. So then a few weeks of doing this my partner said (at the supermarket)...dont buy anymore...oh I said...OK...and quit from then. I could not imagine sucking that into my lungs again....and have it contol my life...my packet of ciggies controlled where I went and for how long. It feels so "free" to go outside or for a drive in a car without the packet of ciggies. Keep up the good work...it will get tough...work out what your triggers are?? like the PHONE and the cups of COFFEE...but if you like me coffee tastes FOUL while quitting. Yes the head spins and aches and pains will go...I used to get an ache across my shoulders. So glad you have chosen to give up...there is LIFE after Cigarettes.

Keep at it. It was tough but worth it for me. More than 40 years and now more than two without. Use whatever it takes to stay quit.
We're all pulling for you and everyone else who is quitting.
Think of it this way, maybe one of those overpaid tobacco executives will get fired cause you quit.
