I was just counting down the days on the calendar today....Deear season for me opens on Sept 1 with elk season in Sept also. Being a bow hunter in WA is cool. We get to hunt elk in the rut. My s/o and I have a week long hunting trip planned for the 3rd week. Hiking in(up) into the mountains for high mt. buck and elk. I'm pumped too!!!!!!

I love my digital deer cam! I started putting it out each night on July 13 and I have gotten a couple hundred pictures - right in the back yard. Our property is surrounded by soy bean and corn fields, and I put out a mineral block and some shelled corn for them just about year round. Ours are still in velvet here in Ohio.

Can't wait for the sausage and backstrap. Good luck ya'll.

Yep same here in NWLA. I sit and watch the fellows gather at the edge of my property every night and every morning. Sure hope they are there come Oct.
