..And that is the Pyrnad I had been hoping would become manifest!

That is the Pyrnad I have seen all along throughout these threads. Getting gleeful when the poopheads were hanging themselves with their own rope and enjoying the idea of discomfitting the NN with some guineas and a donkey are hardly the incarnation of evil some folks were making it out to be.

As far I can see, Pyrnad has made every reasonable effort to be fair and do the right thing throughout this ordeal. She is still the one who has to keep watching her back, and the backs of her 70 animals...

I am not sure if pigs root with their snoot, or rout with their snout.
I believe both may be correct.

I prefer rout and snout, but I am rather snooty that way.

True enough.

"We reap what we sow" may or may not be applicable in this case. I think there is always some wisdom in it as it is always applicable to some degree, but not all misery is brought upon by ourselves. It is always dangerous to judge others, though we all do it, and what people say on the internet is a particularly poor basis on which to judge people. Much of the personal attacks and retaliations, aggressive or passive aggressive, perceived or real, have been born out of the best intentions of defending either one, or the other, or both, because we have empathized or sympathized with either or both in some way or another. It is easy for those motives, however well intended, to get the better of us, even though we are all really good people. I know I am.

We should all try to maintain a sense of humour, but humour can also be dangerous when it is someone elses train wreck. I think this particular thread is a good place to discuss our human nature and weakness in general, and perhaps inject a little self deprecating humour into the whole affair. I prefer self deprecating humour, because it is all about my favourite subject.

It's also fun to give a poke now and then, if you think they can handle it, and you are ready to duck. There is not much fun in kicking someone when they are really down however. Let's hope this ends well for all parties concerned, if only so that we can make fun of them later and still maintain a clear conscience.

As for me, I am doing OK, and there is plenty to make fun of.
Just remember. It's all about me.

I fully understand what you're saying! However ..some people see things from only one perspective while others see things from several different perspectives. There were other viewpoints and opinions ..and each deserved to be heard!
For the most part ..I don't believe it was the "folks" you pointed at that were the problem. Rather ..I believe it was those who refused to be understanding of the fact that some "folks" had questions about, and/or disagreed with, certain aspects of the dilemma. Asking questions and/or disagreeing was certainly not deserving of negative backlash.
For what its worth: I probably would never deliberately antagonize a neighbor 'for fun' if I seriously believed that my safety and/or property were in jeopardy from them!

As far I can see, Pyrnad has made every reasonable effort to be fair and do the right thing throughout this ordeal. She is still the one who has to keep watching her back, and the backs of her 70 animals...
In spite of what somebody might claim otherwise ..I've always been of the opinion that Pyrnad should be able to enjoy her property. In my own opinion ..I believe that most of Pyrnad's supporters appear to be caring individuals. However ..I also believe that most of the "folks" who have asked questions and/or disagreed with certain aspects ..are caring individuals as well.
A 'real-world' fact of life that should remain true in 'cyber-forums' as well is this: ..Some people will accept everything they've been told ..while others will ask questions and/or disagree!
If some people do ask questions and/or disagree ..it doesn't necessarily mean they don't care! Personally, I will continue to wish Pyrnad the very best. As always ..I hope her entire situation is resolved in the most amicable method possible.
And as bad as PYrnad's neighbors appear to be based upon what we've been told ..I'm still not going to wish evil upon them. Ultimately, everyone will receive a fair return for their own behaviors.

I am not interested in discussing Pyrnad's problems specifically. That got us nowhere and I think I did a fair job explaining why. That is a different thread. I am interested in discussing the problems we are all having in discussing topics such as property rights and personality types. Isn't that the topic of this thread?

Perhaps it should be moved. I would suggest General Chat.

All I need to know is did the

go with the
.. .----. ...- . -... . . -. - .-. -.-- .. -. --. -.-. .- -... .. -. -... ..- - - .... . .-
and if the answer is
... ..- .-. . -.. --- . ... -- .- -.- . ..-. --- .-. ... --- -- . --. --- --- -.. . -. - . .-. -

does it all equate to a matter of life experiences and Mark Twain or mathmetics and Albert Einstein? Did either one of them have anything to do with it?

Scratching my head and wondering???

Java Morse Code Translator
