Depending on the area of WV, there probably isn't much tillable land but there may be grazable land. Cattle and goats can graze where a tractor cannot plant and harvest. And then there's some that's just rocks, cliffs, and ravines.

It's all beautiful though, and the water in WV is plentiful.

Only 2900 Acres but....

That's still 4.5 square miles.

Asking price
$5,250,000

"2,900 +- deeded acres, 1,350 acres of row crop ground under present lease, 1,100 acres under coal lease, miles frontage along the White River, several lakes and ponds, miles of road frontage, great hunting and fishing."

Although I love the mountains of WV this seems like a more financially feasible
property.

I'm Sure there's lots of property, people in agreement is the real rare find.

indiana has bad gun laws? They allow concealed carry (have to get a card for $5 and get your picture taken) which was better than illinois. I like indiana, taxes are ok and people are very friendly. Mild temps. not sure what you mean by the land comment.

That's just not true at all. The Peoples Republik of Illinois has bad gun laws. Indiana is the wild west comparetively and very firearm and hunting friendly. There are some really nice parts of Indiana that I would love to live in.

Yes! I saw The Village right after my husband died, and I so wanted to live in something like that. Even though I knew that there would be no medicine. I was ready to move there on the spot. I still am.

If there ever was any more substance to this dream that we all seem to be taking part in, I would want to be there for sure! Sounds ideal. I would love to be a farmer and have a small village of people that where a lot more like minded than my present neighbors. I add my mental energy to the dream!
God bless you and yours
Debbie

Sorry guess i got the gun laws confused with illinoise though I know it is one of the many states that gave lots of building/septic codes and the like.

Having good septic codes is not a bad thing.
