There's water in the river this morning! A bit muddy, but it's flowing nicely! At long last it's comming alive again. Fall is falling and the monsoon season has started. Maybe there's enough moisture to have a pretty fall.

A WINTER camp out???? As in COLD? hmmmmmmm. I'll have to give this some serious thought..For me, it all depends upon where you guys decide upon location..the notion of driving on those lovely twisty narrow roads in the Winter doesn't do much for me frankly..LOL..but the thought of Winter camping itself sounds like FUN..I'll wait to toss my wollen hat in the ring for now..

Wassamatter Bostonlesley? Surely they make studded tires for your chair, or tire chains maybe? Lap robe, ear muffs, woolen hat, tire chains, you're good to go!

Funny Dennis..LOL

"Nellie" doesn't do well at all in freezing temps..she has those new-fangled electronic innards ya know. It's not the chair I'm thinking about..just got through driving back and forth from Missouri to Philly (well, I drove part of the way), and had my share of driving twisty hills in bad weather..holy moley. The memory is a bit too fresh..I need it to wear off before I contemplate your Arkansas hilly narrow roads in Winter..In my mind, I'm already packed and ready to go..LOL..thinking of how nice it would be to bring a brick and get it all warmed up in the campfire, then wrap it up and stick it in the tent..right where my feet will be.

Frenchy, I think, that we had already decided that Steele creek was where we were going to camp....but Dennis or Don may be able to correct me if I'm wrong? I think the reason that we had decided there, was because of the elk that are supposed to come into the valley to graze.............
Glad to see you are back...was kinda wondering where you were, and hoping that you are all right..................

I think you all better get together on where.
I read earlier that the better place to see the elk was another campground just down the road from steel creek and someone was going to check it out.
That was early on is the plans for this camp out.
I thought that was you Frenchy. Am I wrong about this?
It was somepme that lives in the area anyway.

Steel Creek was what we had decided at the fall campout since the elk graze in the meadows.
Date is December 8,9, and 10.
Be there or??!!

LaDonna, you are going to have to get to using that new mug a lot to get it broke in right before the camp out.
