Earlsfarmgirl, we RV people usually eat meals from a plate using a fork ---- hehehehe, just kidding, just kidding.
Our RV, like nearly every other, has a completely equipped kitchen, running water, water heater, sink, refrigerator, etc (some even have dishwashers I hear). My wife and I almost always make our own meals. Occasionally it is nice to have people over (we've had as many as ten at one time -- and once fed something like 35 outside on picnic tables) or to have a meal with others.
We do NOT expect anyone to feed us or to supply food (unless they wish to do so or the garden is over-producing).
I do not assume that everyone shares our preferences, but most RV people we know are pretty independent but sociable. It might be nice to share meals occasionally if that appeals to all concerned.
