Bird Flu Scenerio Video

They might be forced into going to work....by the government.

When I watched the video, my first primal instinct was to go to the nearest stores and stockpile EVERYTHING I could buy. But then the rational, "you're not a sheeple" part of my brain kicked in and I immediately thought, WOW - great scare tactic! To paraphrase some dictator - if you keep people afraid, they are easily manipulated.

On the other hand, if this flu is even close to half as bad as they say it will be, I'll be happy snuggled deep in my house with my stockpile and DH...Better to be prepared than having to get my rations from a Red Cross shelter (or compete with the looters for food and water).

Take what you hear about the flu with a cup of salt, but don't forget that there's always a grain of truth in it somewhere...
