I'm not superstitious. I don't go for old wives or folk tales or goofiness like that.
My mom use to go nuts about opening an umbrella in the house and it meaning that that someone in the family was going to die. I asked her about it when I got older and she laughed and told me it was just so I wouldn't mess around and break something by messing around opening an umbrella inside the house.
I do notice certain names seem to keep popping up with certain personality types and character traits throughout my life. I have no idea why that is. I was noticing that today actually. Don't know if that is superstition or not though.
