As a kid I used to like making dollhouses out of cardboard boxes that I would decorate with old gift wrap on the walls and sometimes make furniture from it as well. I have a pretty cardboard house that someone gave me a few years ago filled with cookies it has a gingerbread look but lasts year after year.

It could be used to line shelves or drawers in a pinch.
