Only a few have been seleated to wear the foil hats. all others are impersonators and run the risk of being struck down by a freak lightning storm, or asked not to bring goods to the bake sale

Don is right, it must be real TIN tinfoil.
If you can hold your head at a 45% angle with your mouth half open, and pick up the local radio station through the fillings in your teeth, you have the right kind of tinfoil. You may have to walk around awhile like this or adjust your jaw a bit before you get it right. Keep trying, you can do it.

When wearing a foil hat, always remember:
Under no circumstance should you put your head in a microwave oven.
Learned that one the hard way.
(The same goes for foil underwear.)

What's this about 'grounding'??? the tinfoil hats or colanders or whatever???
Grounding may or may not protect you from aliens and govt. black ops... but it leaves you wide open to the Mole Men! And the Mole Men are Everywhere! Waiting...
And I dang sure don't want the Mole Men knowing my plans for world domination...

real tin foil peeople! NOT aluminum.
And GROUND it! Attach a copper cable to the rear end of the hat and let it dangle, long enough so it drags on the ground when you move. This way the mind control waves go harmlessly to the ground, like the way a lightening rod works.

I think a collander with all the holes would have to many chanells and just confuse you.
What about Reynolds Non stick "Release" Foil. The waves should just slide off it.

Is there an EASY way?
I'd say the same rule applies even if you aren't wearing a foil hat.."never put your head in a microwave oven"..
..and it doesn't matter which head either.

Would the reflective duct tape work for the underwear? It'd be more comfortable than foil and not nearly as dangerous while playing in the microwave. But I definately don't want the Moles to get me so I'll bow to your advise....

Just make sure you put that duct tape ON TOP of your underwear or you won't be needing a bikini wax for a long time !

Guess I gotta share this. Grounding; On a day when the vibes are really grievous and pretentious you can get great relief by wearing golf shoes with the spikes. This also really works
indoors on your hardwood floors.
It is with a great deal of compunction that I shared that with you all..............

Darn it, now I need to go make tin foil hats for the cows and horses. The horses aren't going to be too difficult, but some of the cows have horns, and making a hat to accomodate ears and horns is going to be tough.

As far as ray deflecting, has anyone given any thought to the application of X-mas tree Tinsel? Or garlands they might be fashionable!
Also wchich would be more durable for a goats horns? Silver duct tape of good old fashioned shiney muffler tape?
Then I was thinking, surely these "rays" can get up our noses! That throws a whole new monkey wrench into the prevention program.....

Hmmmm cornfields may just be the problem. Except that crop circles in England are usually in wheat fields. Maybe it's any kind of grain crop?
The rays can't go up your nostrils because the rays come down from above. Unless your nostrils are on upside down, you are safe.
I really like the tinsel idea for the goat and cow horns. A little duct tape, some tinsel.....probably will keep flies off as well as aliens.
Come to think of it, we have a cow whose tail was injured, and the lower half fell off. I can fix it now!

Nobody has mentioned the Shadow people yet.
Tin Foil, due to its reflectivity, makes those hidden Shadow People show up as clear as a Bell.
